HİKÂYEMİZ
Where Does Our Name Come From?
Pera is one of Istanbul's most historically layered districts. For centuries, its streets have brought together Genoese merchants, the Ottoman Empire's gateway to the West, embassies, arcades and workshops. In the 19th century, it became a place where Eastern traditions and Europe's modern design sensibilities first came together.
This meeting of cultures felt familiar to us. After all, rugs do much the same: they bring a time-honoured craft into the homes of today.
Tarihi ve Kültürel Miras
Pera Halı, geçmişin zengin mirasını modern tasarımlarla harmanlayarak, üstün kalite, zarif desenler ve eşsiz işçilikle yaşam alanlarınıza değer katar.
A Texture That Stands the Test of Time
Our rugs are made using acrylic, polypropylene and polyester yarns selected for their resistance to light and UV exposure. The yarns are solution-dyed, meaning the colour runs throughout the fibre rather than sitting on the surface. This helps the colours retain their appearance for years, even in sunlit rooms.
Thanks to their tight weave, our rugs resist footprints and feature securely finished edges. Every batch that arrives at our warehouse is individually inspected for dimensions, colour consistency and surface imperfections.
